Twinalize

When searching for names for a new product, the desire for a “simple,” meaning easily understandable and rather descriptive name, is paramount. This is especially true in the IT sector, as almost all products are intended to provide more clarity and easier handling. This is understandable, but it makes it difficult to find a usable variant for naming development given the abundance of descriptive names.

We achieved this in the naming process for FNT GmbH’s IT tool: The name TWINALIZE was created from the keywords twin for mapping IT assets as a digital twin, combined with analyze for the analyses that can be performed at any time. Simple comprehensibility meets strong distinctiveness, allowing the name to be registered as a European trademark with the modified spelling using “i” instead of “y.”
